The room here is one of a kind, looks super fresh, and even comes with coffee! 🌟 It's got a high ceiling and a huge window that lets in lots of light. The location is amazing and just a short walk from a bus stop.

Good, quiet and genteel atmosphere centrally located.
Basic room was a bit on the small side and didnt like the double bed pushed against an outside wall. Ok for single but not for double. Bathroom on the other hand was big with plenty of room. Full breakfast at $30 was expensive and you should consider making it an all inclusive B&B price.

Location: the hotel was really close to the outskirts of the Wellington CBD. I dined close to the property at Sushi Maru. I have stayed in executive queen room with coffee, a comfortable bed plus great bathroom for 1 night.
Facilities were great, though Wi-Fi was very poor.

The staff were very attentive. The hotel was well situated near the waterfront. The breakfasts were very good.
We like hotels with old world charm and character but the Wellesley seems quite run down and somewhat tired in general appearance.

Very lovely stay, as always. A wide range of tasty food at breakfast time. Well-organised and air conditioned room with coffee, a high ceiling, and a big window, and lovely bed. Fantastic very central location and extremely friendly staff.

The room was thoughtfully designed with mints on the pillows and in the bathroom. the hotel's location is fantastic, as it is close to many popular attractions like Te Papa, the bus stop, and the waterfront, as well as a variety of bars and restaurants. Heading to the nearby Honey Badger Saloon for a nightcap before bed was convenient.

The Hotel is simple and delivers (apart from some feather pillows I ordered up) what it says it will. In particular the staff who took me to the room and explained the lift, and the staff who were responsible for reserving a table in front of the fire for a business get together for me and the way they looked after my guests was most commendable.

I really enjoyed the 'olde world charm' which is created by the age and design of the building. It is so central but still very private. It does reflect its history and you can still sense that it was once a 'gentlemans' club'. The food was stunning and genuine cuisine served. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Really excited to discover that the hotel has function facilities and I believe they could do wonderful special occassion events e.g. weddings, anniversaries etc.
